Abstract – In the blink of an eye. An eye blink takes approximately 0.4 second and the high frequency vibration and gyro sensors currently available from multiple suppliers enable drilling analysis in this time domain. Fracture ID provides information from high frequency sensors fitted to drill bits and string subs for increased understanding of what is physically occurring downhole.
