Let's Talk: Mother and Daughter Tea

Description

Author Ruth O'Bryant will read her book, Beautiful Little Black Girl, after which there will be a question and answer session. Girls ages 8-12 will decorate a mirror to show how much they value their image. KeWi Teas (Soulstirteawell.com) will discuss different types of teas. Tea will be served, along with hors d'oerves, during which time mothers and daughters can bond, and pictures can be taken of the girls in their tiaras at the photo booth. Afterward, the author will lead a discussion with the attendees about what they learned at the program.
