'Tis the Season to Shop Small Businesses! The SBDC at FDU and Madison Chamber of Commerce are partnering to host our first ever holiday market on December 16th! The Twombly Holiday Market will be held in the Twombly Mansion (Henessy Hall) on Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham Campus. Gather 'round, give back, and shop for your holiday gifts! Festivities include seasonal hors d'oeuvres and hot cocoa bar, last minute holiday shopping at the small business vendor market, live music from local artists, a special visit from Santa, and more! In the spirit of giving back, entry is at no cost. As there is no cost for admission, we strongly encourage donations as a price of each "ticket", for those who feel so inclined to give back and support their local communities. Please bring an unopened toy, canned or non-perishable food items, and/or monetary donations to the event. Local organizations will be in attendance and open to donations of any size, including: Toys for Tots, the New Jersey Veterans Chamber of Commerce, St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center, Madison Arts & Culture Alliance, the Silberman Scholarship Fund, Devils Care Pantry, FDU Career Closet, the New Jersey Veterans Network, Grow it Green Morristown, the Small Business Development Center at Fairleigh Dickinson University, and the New Jersey Small Business Development Centers State Network.Register today to help us have an accurate headcount to order enough hot chocolate! Donations can be made in advance through Eventbrite and/or at the event on the 16th. Happy Holidays and we hope to see you there!-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Sponsorship Opportunities -If you or your organization is interested in helping to sponsor the Twombly Holiday Market, we are providing three fantastic opportunities to reach new audiences and give back to your local communities. Sponsorship of the event will provide prominent placement of your brand in front of hundreds of attendees, organizations and community partners.Option 1 (Gold) - $1,000 Holiday Tree Sponsorship: Go all out and decorate a full-size holiday tree to represent your organization at the event! $500 will go to support future SBDC at FDU programming, while $500 will be given as a donation to an event organization(s) of your choice.Gold level sponsors will also become center level sponsors of the SBDC at FDU beyond this single event. Sponsors at this level will be listed in center marketing materials, newsletter, social media and on the front page of our website for the entire calendar year 2023. Option 2 (Silver) - $300 Holiday Wreath Sponsorship: Decorate a holiday wreath to represent your organization as a proud sponsor of the Twombly Holiday Market. $150 will go to support future SBDC at FDU programming, while $150 will be given as a donation to an event organization(s) of your choice. Option 3 (Bronze) - $50 Holiday Stocking Sponsorship: Hang your custom stocking with pride and showcase your organization as a proud sponsor of the Twombly Holiday Market. Don't forget to bring your business cards to attach to your stocking. $25 will go to support future SBDC at FDU programming, while $25 will be given as a donation to an event organization(s) of your choice. *Trees, wreaths, and stockings will all be provided by the SBDC at FDU.
