Shop Mechanic Assistant

Assists the Lead Shop Mechanic in the following:
*Work under limited supervision
*Perform assigned preventive maintenance on Tractor Trailers and machinery
*Repair and replace defective parts, components or systems (tires, electrical, trailer repairs, lights, etc.)
Steady Work 5 To 6 days a week minimum of 40 hours
Company offers Health Insurance, Dental Insurance and Paid Holidays and
a pay incentive after 60 days
*Requirements
*Mechanical experience
*Ability to walk, stand, and lift objects for an extended period of time
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to maintain accurate records of duties performed
*Welding experience helpful but no required
