Self-Storage Facility Gate Attendant We are a leader in light industrial warehouse rentals and Self-storage in south Florida. We are seeking a gate attendant for our self-storage facilities in Boca Raton, FL and Deerfield Beach, FL. The work includes greeting all visitors and directing them to their destination site in the facility. You will also obtain license plate information and other basic information of traffic entering the facility. A daily/nightly log will be kept of any usual or unusual events. On a daily or nightly basis, check all buildings, turn off lights, and lock doors and gates. Monitor facility daily, noting any broken lights, missing signs, etc. Check for anything unusual such as open doors, water running, etc. This is a job with minimum direct supervision. To be considered we are looking for the following: 1. A Pro-Active positive attitude 2. Strong customer service skills 3. Good verbal and written communication skills 4. Gate attendant experience preferred 5. A valid driver’s license 6. Able to work days nights, weekends as needed 7. Must have strong, reputable references Responsibilities will include; • Provide basic customer service to facility visitors • Make sure the facility has sufficient supplies on hand to fill job duties • Check the physical condition of the facility and report maintenance issues appropriately • Conduct routine checks noting issues such as light bulb changing, broken lights, signs, etc. • Review units to make sure all doors, latches, and locks are in working order and report any issues. • Maintain a clean work environment. • Perform duties assigned in compliance with safety standards We have a friendly and professional work environment.
