The Beacon Site is a wonderful Purpose Built Community in Southeast Raleigh — designed in consultation with the community — featuring high-quality affordable housing, an elementary school, and a YMCA branch. We invite you to join us to celebrate the next phase in the development of the Beacon site: Beacon Point! Beacon Point is under construction now and is located across the street from the YMCA. The project's two buildings will house two health clinics, a Self-Help Credit Union branch, and office space for local businesses and nonprofits, including the headquarters for Southeast Raleigh Promise. Beacon Point will open in late 2023. Please join us for a groundbreaking ceremony on December 8, as we celebrate the continued development of this vibrant, community-focused space. The event will be held outdoors at the Pavilion, on the south side of the soccer field. Please navigate to 1436 Rock Quarry Rd and park in the rear parking lot, directly across from the soccer field.
