Please join Soroptimist international of Benicia, as we host a community fan favorite event, Teddy Bear Tea at the Benicia Clocktower Sunday, December 11th from 1 PM - 3 PM. Adults and children will enjoy sipping on tea, or hot chocolate while they eat a variety of scones, sandwiches, and other delicious sweet treats. Children will enjoy a festive holiday story time along with activities while they smile, laugh, and enjoy quality time with loved ones. Guests are also invited to bring a new unwrapped book for ages 1-18 to be donated to children in need. These will be the hottest tickets in town and seats will be limited. This is an opportunity you won’t want to miss. Proceeds from the event will go to helping fund our educational scholarships at the high school and college/trade school level, the elementary literacy program, and supply funds for the building of our “House of Hope”. The House of Hope is a safe house designed to help victims of trafficking and domestic violence get the help they need, when they need it, and allows for a fresh start while being in a safe environment.
