In this course, we'll cover all the basics for modern hand lettering with Lanta Carroll, lettering artist + owner of Letters by Lanta, in the fun and festive atmosphere at Wild Heaven Brewery West End! Enjoy craft beer from Wild Heaven while we learn how to letter together! This is the perfect creative night out for you and your friends. Lanta is a skilled, self-taught calligrapher who is proud to have worked with companies including Sharpie, PaperMate, and Truist Park. You’ll learn how to add your personal lettering touch to your holiday decor with Lanta's practice worksheets and lettering tips, and take home a personalized ornament that you create during the workshop! You'll be instructed on basic strokes, letter formation, connecting words, and also learn ways to use lettering as a mindful creative practice to help you feel more calm, relaxed and connected this holiday season. There will be plenty of time for 1-1 support and Q&A! All skill levels welcome.
