This show will be the kick off the 2023 'Live at the Brooks' concert series presented by the Six String Society and the Oceanside Theater Company at the historic Brooks Theatre in downtown Oceanside. The Brooks is a perfect venue with it's large stage, beautiful lighting & great sound yet it is very intimate with a capacity of just under 200 people. Please note, this is a reserved seated show. So if U are interested in a listening show this will be a brilliant overall experience. This exciting new music series will commence in grand style as we welcome all the way from Sweden Jazz great Gunhild Carling and her amazing family band. Gunhild is one of the most dynamic performers in the world as she sings, dances, and plays more than 10 instruments! She's toured internationally for years and even peformed for the King of Sweden! Also, we have other exciting news. Just back from his European tour, we are incredibly blessed to have San Diego legend and international touring star Mr. Gregory Page opening the evening and the Live at the Brooks series! We are fully anticipating this show to sell out in advance so if interested get your tickets today. Doors will open at 7 PM with the show beginning at 8 PM. As a special treat, Sir Robert Parker will be performing in the Brooks lobby from 7-7:45 PM. So come early, get a glass of wine or beer (snacks too!), and enjoy the ambiance of a Six String Society production.
