We are excited to welcome you to our very own Winter Wander. This is an outdoor event celebrating the winter holidays from around the world.
Join us for an enchanting walk where children experience winter magic. You will begin with a welcome from our Snow Queen who then sends you on your journey around the world. On this meander around our campus, you will see how different cultures celebrate winter and bring light into the darker, colder days of the year: the celebrations of Diwali, Hanukkah, Shab-e Yalda, a visit with a hibernating bear, some charming frosted "shop" windows, a winter story puppet show with Indian, Chinese and Japanese roots, and the decoration of a Christmas tree while live carolers sing to you.
Along the way the children will collect small treasures which do include some sweets, an organic honey stick and a chocolate gelt.
Although this event is prepared for children ages 3 to 8, all children are welcome.
Dress warmly, as the event is outside. Please also note that there are stairs along our wintery journey.
