Before you dive into the frenzied month of December, join us for a liturgy of words and song, of quiet and beauty, of intentional listening and communal singing in a sacred space. In this service, you will hear traditional scripture alongside poetry by James Weldon Johnson and Tracy K. Smith. All four of Calvary's choirs will participate--including the Calvary Ringers, St. Cecilia Choir, the Boys and Girls Choir, and Calvary Choir--offering anthems by G. F. Handel, Elizabeth Poston, David Cherwein, Paul Manz, and Annabeth Gay. All are welcome to this free service of Advent Lessons & Carols.
