Olio Vintage Give-Back Black Friday Weekend & Toy Drive Olio Vintage is celebrating Black Friday weekend by giving back to the community—and you can help by putting your shopping dollars toward a good cause. Olio’s core vendors (Black Nvni, Salty Vintage, Rosella Vintage and Olio Vintage) have pledged to donate 10% of their sales from the weekend to the Hallie Q. Brown Community Center, which has a mission to improve the quality of life in the community by providing access to critical human services, fostering and promoting personal growth, and developing community leadership. The shop will also be collecting unwrapped toys for the organization throughout the weekend. Bonus: You can also get your photo taken with the shop’s mascot and window display, a giant wooden antique swan boat. The event takes place Friday, 11/25–Sunday, 11/27 from 11am–6pm daily. It's also a great chance to find one-of-a-kind holiday gifts and fancy holiday party outfits & festive holiday sweaters! More holiday happenings at Olio: Swan Naming Contest: Olio is giving its shoppers the chance to name its store mascot and win a $50 gift card! The giant swan, which appears in the store’s windows, is an antique wooden swan boat from Central Park in New York City. The contest begins Monday, 11/21, and runs through Sunday, 11/27, Black Friday weekend. Learn how to submit your choice on Olio’s Instagram story, @olio.mpls,beginning 11/21.  Camp True Colors NovemberFundraiser: Olio is collecting donations in store throughout the month of November for Camp True Colors, an LGBTQ+ youth summer camp that helps build self confidence and life skills in a welcoming environment. Olio’s expanded holiday hours begin Wednesday, 11/23. Updated hours are Wednesdays–Mondays11am–6pm (closed Tuesdays) through 12/23.
