FREE- Thanksgiving is a holiday that many people celebrate in the US and because we are a melting pot of cultures our dinner tables offer a plethora of diversity. As children are learning about the origin and meaning of Thanksgiving, let's come together for a ‘Farm to Table’ experience to learn about the different foods we eat during this holiday and why we eat them. We’ll be harvesting different crops of the season, learning about them, then trying them in a dish. This Kids' Lunch and Learn is designed to enhance your child’s worldview through interactive and engaging conversation about their families and culture as it relates to this very popular holiday. This event is a Westagate Community Farm and A Green Community Collaboration.
