We are a collective of felons and families of felons who believe in the need for major criminal justice reform within our country and our communities. Across the United States, there are 2.5 million incarcerated individuals, 35 million ex-felons, and 7 million on probation or parole. There are approximately 200 million people in the country who are directly affected by these issues in one way or another. Potentially, and very possibly, we can unite to be a family of two-thirds of the population of this country. We are currently in desperate need of sponsorships/advertising/volunteers to help us with our cause. We are Christian centered and almost to the point of receiving our 501c3.  We are recognized by the State of North Carolina. We have also been in the Taylorsville Times. New Hope Initiative is a revolutionary purpose-driven criminal justice reform organization aimed at offering a comprehensive holistic network of inspirational programs designed to create a safer society in our nation. By our focus on the extensive range of individual issues that cause crime, and our concerted attention on the conditions that create the revolving door of recidivism, we will truly address and eliminate the root causes that leave to and cultivate a life of crime. Among our many purposes, New Hope’s 4 main intentions are: 1.      Create a positive, productive living environment for prisoners conducive to a successful reentry, as we humanize and prepare those incarcerated. 2.      Reestablish and reintegrate all the opportunities and resources needed to effectively assist them in making a genuine transformation. 3.      Eradicate the most common reasons why an individual is inclined to reoffend. 4.      Break down the stigma that society holds over felons that says just because they’re incarcerated means they no longer have nothing to offer and no longer deserve a role in the community. Our innovative all-encompassing approach, developed by the very people New Hope will help, offers a total and complete restoration in the lives of our clients and their families, instilling hope in their hearts for a better life upon release, as we rectify the issues and injustices that plague all the facets of the modern US criminal justice system.
