I am looking for an honest, dependable adult to clean cages for several cavies (guinea pigs) one day per week. Days can be semi-flexible as long as the day and time is consistent. The job is inside a temperature-controlled environment. It is not difficult but is physically demanding. There are 32 cages for approximately 50 guinea pigs. Brief job description: Remove animals from their cage, discard soiled bedding, scrub cage with vinegar replace bedding with new, return the animal to it’s cage, wash and bleach pet dishes and water bottles, fill feed dishes and water bottles and replace. Experience has shown it takes four to six hours depending on your own speed. There is no public transportation to my home so you must have your own. The person I hire must be dependable and able to work without supervision as I do go out of town some weekends to cavy shows. I would like it to be long term - not just through the holidays.
