Plant people, Sea Mist Interiorscapes has a position for someone year round to care for indoor living walls and interior accounts in the greater Boston area. Plant knowledge is greatly preferred and additional training will be provided. The position is between 30-40 hours per week during regular business hours although a small portion of work can be done on weekends. The position entails overseeing and ensuring the attractive appearance of living walls and free standing plants and planters. This includes managing automatic irrigation systems, hand watering, pruning and removal of all dead or yellowing foliage on green walls and interior plants, fertilizing as necessary and identifying replacement plant needs and assisting with those replacements. At each visit you will photograph and communicate the status of the green walls. Plant care support staff is available by request if needed. Reliability, integrity, good physical health, professional presentation and people skills are important. While you may use your own transportation with travel reimbursement, there is a company vehicle available. One account requires a Federal background security check and in another, the use of a lift is necessary. Compensation is $25 per hour or above depending on qualifications.
