Landmere, Inc. is looking for a Landscape Maintenance Operations Manager who can support our fast-paced operations. The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our commercial landscape maintenance teams, including hiring, performance, and equipment, while ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and high-quality standards. Field Supervision: • The Operations Manager is responsible for safety, performance, and quality. • Responsible for hiring and onboarding of new employees. • Supervising all lawn maintenance service activities of the crew. • Ensure that all crew members have the training and tools needed to complete the job, and that the crew members are always operating safely. • Turning in accurate crew time logs. • Maintain quality control on all assigned properties and ensure employees are trained on horticultural best techniques and when performing maintenance. • Equipment inventory – Everything on the trucks, including mowers, blowers, weed eaters, edgers, sprayers, etc. • Ensuring equipment is in good working order and receives appropriate preventative maintenance. • Monitors and performs maintenance of equipment, to ensure optimal productivity and proper maintenance by field staff. • Implement repair procedures, safety and function inspections for vehicles, trailers, and equipment. • Ensures all materials, equipment, and other supplies are ordered and/or on hand for crews’ daily assignments. • Special projects as needed. Qualifications: • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency. • High School Diploma or GED. • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record to meet insurance standards. • Demonstrated knowledge of landscape maintenance. • 4+ years' experience in a lead, supervisory or management role. • Ability to obtain proper licenses for Fertilization and Irrigation. • Must be able to move and/or lift 75 pounds consistently. • Strong ability to multi-task, stay organized, and communicate effectively. • Positive attitude and professional demeanor always. Physical requirements of the job: • Bending or twisting the body. • Keeping or regaining balance. • Kneeling, crouching, and squatting. • Pushing or pulling objects. • Climbing ladders and stairs. • Move or lift objects/plants up to 75 pounds. Environmental Elements of the job: • Work outdoors in extreme heat or cold. • Sounds or noise levels that are distracting and uncomfortable. • Use herbicides, fertilizers, and related products. • Exposed to hazardous equipment. Compensation: • $50,000 - $60,000 Salary (commensurate with experience). • Health Insurance options. • Paid vacation/personal time. Job Type: Full-time Schedule: • 10-hour shift. • Monday to Friday. • Weekend availability. License/Certification: Driver's License (Required).
