BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Boulder County is seeking volunteers who would like to voice their opinions and help guide policy decisions, officials said. The county is recruiting residents for open positions on advisory boards and commissions. The new board members will provide their input on matters that range from resource conservation to community and work programs. Some seats have specific geographical or skills requirements, officials said. "Boulder County is working toward its boards and commissions becoming more inclusive and representative of the county at large by increasing the variety of people who participate," the county said in a statement. "All are welcome to apply; Representation from historically marginalized and underrepresented groups are especially vital for the health and well being of our community." The deadline for members of the public to view vacancies and apply online for positions is Jan. 15.
