Habitat for Humanity Portland Region is proud to partner with Community Energy Project to teach homeowners simple but effective DIY weatherization and energy saving steps anyone can take. Zack from CEP has taught hundreds and hundreds of homeowners low-cost energy saving techniques and connected people to a wide variety of community resources. Learn how to help the environment, save yourself money, reduce energy, and more. Qualified participants (income limits below) will receive a FREE kit of materials to lower energy costs and stay warmer in their homes during the colder months, including items like a thermometer, temp cards, LED light bulbs, plastic window insulation kit, power strip, weather stripping and more.
At the end of the presentation, CEP will to connect you to many other free programs available for PGE and Pacific Power customers like Community Solar discounts, Peak Time Rebates, Clean River Rewards (requires water bill), and PGE/PAC Power Bill Discounts. Income restrictions may apply and vary on programs. Bring your utility bill if interested and we can assist you in applying!
