We have partnered with District Cinema for this Fall session to bring you a creative selection of short fashion films. Join us to watch 9 shorts - some rare, some known, all unique :) - created by and for different fashion designers, including Kenzo, Vivienne Westwood, Prada, Thebe Magugu, and Grace Wales Bonner. 2012-2021- International- 53 min. We will run the session for two hours. The first one at 3pm and the second one at 4pm. at Slow Down Market - 1710 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington DC, 20009 Seats are limited. We will be serving drinks and snacks. Please RSVP. Limited street parking. We encourage you to use your bikes, ridesharing or public transportation. About Slow Down Market Slow Down Market is a functional retail pop-up and creative events space embracing slow fashion, artisanal craftswo/manship, and showcasing a global selection independent design brands. Created by Tribute Collective, Laiik and Candor Collab, and located on the sunny first floor of 1710 Connecticut Avenue, the market is first and foremost a community space for discovery, celebrating ethically made fashion and designs. Each screening is hosted in a unique location and is centered aroud a different country, culture, and/or global issue.
