Class dates: 11/29, 12/6, 12/13, & 12/20 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM This 4 week course will be focusing on the wheel. This class for Intermediate potters will explore size, form, refinement, trimming for perfect feet, and surface texture and color. Starting with footed bowls we will use old school measuring tools to make multiples with a strong focus on a perfectly curved inner surface. We will cover larger bowls & covered vessels. Class demonstrations will be given every class. Demos usually run between 15 and 20 minutes leaving you plenty of time to make work. Students are encouraged to make requests. Ages: 16+ Prerequisite: Intro to Throwing 8-Week Series or experience on wheel throwing What to bring: Apron is you have one, some available Materials provided: 25 lbs clay, wheel, studio space, glaze and firing.
