The nursing workforce is in crisis, with the COVID-19 pandemic accelerating challenges the profession has faced for decades. Change is needed now to address these long-standing challenges and support the invaluable role nursing professionals hold in our healthcare systems and communities. The Indiana Center for Nursing (ICN) and Ascend Indiana (Ascend) are hosting a two-part roundtable to bring together key stakeholders across the state to unpack Indiana’s nursing workforce challenges, set vision for the future, and collectively define action-oriented strategies to foster sustainable change. Day 2 – Designing Solutions What strategies are needed to address the nursing workforce’s most pressing barriers and close the gap between the current and ideal state?
