Kwanzaa is an annual celebration of African-American culture from December 26th to January 1st, culminating in a community feast called Karamu, usually on the sixth day. The Kwanzaa Lighting and African Celebration is a time to educate the community on the history of Kwanzaa, its principles, and traditions. This event was formed to empower families to rediscover their African heritage. We will culminate the event with African attire and performances.
