The reconvened Camera Obscura Film Society, under the coordinated co-direction of Amanda Salazar and Jonathan Marlow, will present its Eighth Annual Report from 18- to 21-November in Petaluma, California (roughly forty-five minutes north of San Francisco). Over the course of the weekend, "unusual, antique and experimental" films will be screened at a pop-up cinema constructed inside the grand ballroom of the historic Hotel Petaluma. Eight programs (for the eighth year) of longer-works-paired-with-shorter-works will be presented along with filmmaker Q&As, discussions and related events at the venue and a handful of assorted locations nearby.
