Krista Tippett - Peabody Award-winning broadcaster, National Humanities Medalist, New York Times bestselling author, and Brown University graduate - will be the featured speaker at the 2022 Darrell West Lecture Series on Religion and Politics. Tippett is founder and host of the “On Being” National Public Radio / Podcast, a groundbreaking media and public life initiative pursuing “deep thinking and moral imagination, social courage and joy to renew inner life, outer life, and life together.” Tippett will discuss “Remaking the World,” following a welcome by series sponsor Darrell M. West, senior vice president of the Brookings Institution and former Brown University professor. The evening will conclude with a question-and-answer forum and book signing. The Darrell West Lecture Series on Religion and Politics provides an open forum on the intersection between religion and politics.
