Come and Join Covenstead's Yule 2022. Yule marks the point at which the Sun begins to return to us, when the days begin to lengthen again. The winter solstice is the darkest day of the year, so Yule is both a time of reflection and celebration. As the outside world is at its darkest and the nights at their longest, Yule gives us space for our inner realms to expand and come forth. It is a time to bring in new visions and ideas, make resolutions for the year ahead, and dream bold dreams. Yule Activities: * Yule Log Ritual officiated by Rev. Michael and Bella Shay * Making Witch Balls * Yule Bonfire * Word of the year Reflection Meditation. * Yule Gift Swapping ( Candles, Crystals, Incense or something that you have made) Please bring a Yule Related Food Item for the Yule Feast. Wines and Spirits are allowed. Yule foods include Cookies and caraway cakes soaked in cider, fruits, nuts, pork dishes, turkey, eggnog, ginger tea, spiced cider, wassail, egg rolls, apples, oranges, cheese balls, dips and chips.
