Hi. I hate having to do this. It honestly breaks my heart. Mieko is a 2 year old, unfixed female pitbull. She will be spayed before I rehome her. I’m just trying to find her a home. She is 100% food aggressive against other dogs and cats. If she thinks anything on the ground is a piece of food, she’s going to try and attack anything around her. I have 4 blind dogs, and 4 curious cats, and it’s a danger to have her in my house. She attacked my 8 year old dog over a pile of turkey poop. (I raise them) I’m honestly considering surrendering her to a shelter or a rescue at this point. She was muzzle trained, and she was out and about and she managed to attack one of my dogs and me through the muzzle. I can’t say she’s much fond of it anymore. She spends 95% of her time in a cage. She is always fed in a cage, and she still snaps, snarls, and growls through the cage. We’ve had to put a board up around it to keep her from seeing the other dogs while she eats. It’s no life for her, honestly and it breaks my heart to have to rehome her. It started suddenly around the 2 year mark, and I did everything I could to try and prevent it. I was unsuccessful. She does have rehoming fee, unless you can prove that you’re a rescue with references and a non-profit license. If you are, I will gladly surrender her to you. Please do not text me offering training tips, offer to train her, or to shame me. I am disabled, do not work, and cannot afford high end dog training, which is exactly what she needs.
