Established active band looking for drummer

Hey! We're an established power trio looking for a new drummer. We are active, touring and have plans for the future, including writing and recording new music. Our style is dark alternative rock, grunge and punk. Influences include: Pixies, Sonic Youth, Big Black, Babes in Toyland, (early) Hole, Alice in Chains, The Distillers, Melvins... basically late 80s, early 90s. Everyone in the band is in their late 20s/early 30s. Looking for drummer who can: * Practice/write 2-3x a week * Contribute to practice space rent * Play shows regularly in and out of town (out of town shows will be scheduled in advance so you’ll have plenty of notice) Must have: * Your own gear * Transportation * A job/money Things to note: * Practices are to practice; we’re not a party band * No alcoholics or drug addicts/abusers * We’re not a Houston-only band that plays on the weekends; the goal is to get the band to tour regularly (small runs throughout the year or 1-2 big tours a year), play festivals and hopefully create a cult following that allows us to become full-time musicians * All money made at shows and from merch will go back into the band to record, make more merch, tour, etc. so that we pay less out of pocket (until we make enough) * Opportunities will arise and we need someone who’s open minded and willing to make things happen If you're still interested after all of this, hit us up and we'll send you our music, website, social media, music videos, press, interviews, etc. We are not looking for fill-ins but for a drummer who wants to be a part of an up-and-coming band.
