Hours: Sunday-Friday Nights (Hours to be confirmed) 40+ hours per week La Grange, KY 40031 Pay DOE Role Specifications: We are looking for an enthusiastic person to serve as our Night Track Maintenance Hand. Experience working in a maintenance crew preferred but not essential. We are seeking someone reliable, with a positive attitude and a sense of pride in their work. This position is essential to the function of our business, reliability is a must. This is an overnight position the ability to work the complete shift pattern, Sunday-Friday is essential. The Night Track Maintenance Hand is responsible for the conditioning and maintenance of all the tracks and horse paths at our facility (6-furlong dirt track, 5/8 mile poly track, poly indoor arena). Duties include harrowing, floating, and rolling the track surfaces, applying water to the track surfaces, regrading and repairs as needed, dragging the horse passes. This position involves the use of a tractor and other heavy machinery, experience driving tractors and use of farm implements preferred but not essential. Prior racetrack maintenance experience a huge bonus. Other general farm maintenance duties as required. Own transport will be essential due to the location of the farm.
