Guitars for Vets (G4V) is a federally approved program with the slogan "Putting the Healing Power of Music into the Hands of Hereos," and that's a better summary than I could ever think of. I've been a volunteer instructor in Pittsburgh for years, and it is very rewarding, and teaching has actually helped me rediscover the guitar. Please give it some thought. Music actually helps our veterans recover from trauma. YOU can help someone in this way, by giving them a whole new focus. Most of what I do is teach good practice routines and provide encouragement. Yes, it is the government, so there's a bit of paperwork and other stuff. Thank you very, very much for your time.
