Description
We unfourtunately need to rehome our cocker spaniel. He is almost 4 years old, birthday is december 4th. He is good with cats and other dogs if he is able to sniff and meet them before they get in his space. He does try to be dominant with other male dogs but has never been in an aggressive way. He needs a home with older children 9-10+. He just isnt very aware of smaller/younger children in his surroundings. He is crate trained. And house trained as long as let out. If he doesnt get out when he needs to go he will go in the house. Hes had his regular shots but is due for his rabies. He enjoys car rides, hes been camping with us quite alot over the past 2 years. Hes use to grooming and getting his nails clipped though he does think he can pull the clippers out of your hand occasionally. He knows commands. Hes still pretty active and loves to play fetch and run. His only flaw is for some reason hes developed a weird food aggression. It only occurs if someone gets near his food while hes eating. Then he will growl and bark. He has never bitten anyone. Ive been trying to work with him. But he does fine if hand fed treats or food for tricks. There is a rehoming fee for him.
