We’re Quirk Events, and we host everything from trivia games to board game speed dating nights to music bingo. Based in Boston, a couple of months ago we made our New York debut. Now things are growing in New York, and we are looking for fun, engaging, reliable individuals to help us run our games. We always say the goal of our company is to create joy, and so we’re looking for people who want to create joy for others by running fun events. For our part, it’s our goal to create joy for you by making this a fun job to work at. One where you’re treated well and fairly and where you’re given all the tools you need to help others have a great time. Most events run 1-2 hours and require arriving 30-60 minutes early to help set up, while paying somewhere between $100 and 200. You’d start off assisting, helping someone else run the events as you learn the ropes. If that goes well, we’d train you to actually run the games yourself, showing you everything you’d need to know, and providing all the equipment you’d be using. So far, a lot of them have been concentrated in Astoria, but we are hoping to expand to Manhattan and Brooklyn, and we are happy to work with you in terms of what is and isn't too far a commute. We have events both in the daytime (often in the form of corporate teambuilding events) and at night (we do events that are open to the public at bars and restaurants).
