Description
I ONLY reply to people that: -SEND A PICTURE of themselves (because there are some bizarre characters doing these jobs sometimes..absolutely NO people on DRUGS) -HAVE EXPERIENCE with SOUND and VIBRATION INSULATION coming from walls (in my case VIBRATION is due to a NEIGHBOUR'S FAN), since VIBRATION is the MAIN issue in this case -ANSWER THE QUESTIONS PLEASE read the FULL AD and: 1. ANSWER WITH A POTENTIAL REALISTIC EFFECTIVE PROPOSAL 2. AND/OR what YOU THINK of what am doing and I WILL EVALUATE and CONTACT you TO DO the JOB IF I think your comments/ideas are good 3. ANSWER the QUESTIONS at the bottom of the ad. I need help for making a wall to block the vibration from the neighbour fan, the existing wall in PLASTER 7 inches thick is SHALLOW inside (I guess0 and VIBRATIONS from adjacent neighbour come trough. is really annoying. I already both insulation panels (R 10 Owens brand bought at Home Depot) () I ll add some THICK PLYWOOD 3/8 but it might be not enough, I was thinking to ADD eventually an other 3rd wall after insulation panels and plywood with roxul, drywall, green glue and Brazilian/RC channels which I found hard to find..). Please ANSWER these questions: 1. What REALLY block VIBRATIONS? 2. Send CONTACTS, infos, experience history and a PICTURE to see who am talking to (If everything goes well I might have other jobs for you) 3. Also tell me if you have a CAR or truck to carry materials together from stores 4. Are you also able to remove a PLINTH and CURVED/chapel/bombed shaped wall corners making the wall squared, not curved at the ceiling? 5. Do you know how to make a hole in the wall and fill the wall with SPRAY FOAM? would that work? 6. Do you know where to find CHEAP RC/brazilian Chanels? 7. I might also add/use some types of glass or metal lawyers after plywood 8. Previously I thought to do an extreme solution and instead of the insulation/plywood build brick wall but then I got worried that it might cause issues in the structure of the building since might be too heavy..?its an old victorian building made 100 years ago. what do you think? 9. Last option in extreme scenario if others dont work: add 2 not big lawyer/squares like 2 ft by 2 ft of thick plywood, and put cement in between them, what do you think? 10. Do you have experience with cement, coat, compound, and cut electric wires?
