Funk Drummer Looking For Musicians/Vocals

I recently moved to the North Bay (Petaluma) from Los Angeles and am a lifelong funk/hip hop drummer as well as former talent manager. I've played in bands my whole life, studied at Berklee College of Music, and former bandleader for a 10-piece party funk band. Looking to start a band in the area focused on true, classic 70's funk in the vein of Sly and the Family Stone, P-Funk, James Brown, etc. Looking to do this primarily for fun, but gigging consistently around the area and see where it goes. I'm comfortable handling all the business side (booking, marketing, scheduling, etc), as I owned a talent management company for a decade before moving to Petaluma recently. Picturing female vocals, bass, sax, keys, guitar and looking for all! If you're interested please reach out as I'd love to make this happen!
