DRUMMER WANTED for Alternative/Indie Rock Band

THE LIGHTING SECTION is looking for a drummer to join the band. We currently have two guitarists, an EP recorded, and around 45 minutes of material written. We’re looking to add a drummer (and a bassist) as we continue to write, record, and start playing shows in the scene. We would also welcome new members to have creative input and work on writing new songs together! Some of our major influences include: Silversun Pickups, My Bloody Valentine, The Smashing Pumpkins, Queens of the Stone Age, Sonic Youth, Radiohead, Ween, and the Guitar Hero 3 tracklist in general. We currently practice in a lockout studio in San Francisco once a week on Wednesday or Thursday evenings. New members would be added to the sublease and get keys to the space. We have a drumset ready in the room to loan out or have space for you to bring your own - whichever is best for you! We’re two guys in our mid/late 20s and have about 10 years experience being in bands between us. We love to grab a drink as a band, but prefer to focus on the music during practice. Generally, we are really looking for a good fit more than decades of experience so please hit us up even if you’re new to the band scene!
