You said kind words to me in the Panhandle today. I was caught off-guard because 1) I am not available to date strangers and 2) I never know what to say when a guy compliments me so directly since, as a demisexual woman, I am simply never attracted to strangers. But after you walked away, I thought, "I really hope he knows that my reaction was not a slight against him in the least - and that I appreciated the kind things he said and that it's always nice to be appreciated." Thank you for having such grace about the whole thing and realizing that I needed space to continue my exercising. I think it is brave to approach another and you did so in the right way with tact and gentleness, which is appreciated. I surely hope that by continuing to do so, you meet the right girl.
