She got her start performing at top clubs in New York City including The Improv, Carolines on Broadway and Gotham Comedy Club. She now performs at clubs and festivals around the world and has made numerous television and film appearances. From 2008 to 2013 she was a cast member on the AfterEllen series, Cherry Bomb. She has written for Last Comic Standing and appeared on the Showtime special Fierce Funny Women and Wanda Syke’s Herlarious. She is a paid regular at The World Famous Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard. When she’s not touring or performing for our troops, Shawn performs weekly on the Comedy Store's infamous Main Room stage. She has written for comedic legend, Joan Rivers on Fashion Police. Acting credits include Mad Men, Modern Family, Shut Eye, Arrested Development, Our Flag Means Death, Will & Grace, Don't Trust the B, Parenthood, Entourage, to name a few. His menus are an ode to the traditions, notes and techniques that have shaped his style of cooking: everything from scratch, layered flavors with Southern and Latin undertones, and the finest locally sourced ingredients from throughout Southern California. Chef Ysaac began his career in the kitchen by attending L’École Culinaire in Memphis, Tenn. where he earned his associate degree in culinary arts/chef training. His decade-plus career includes tenures with acclaimed, James Beard-nominated chefs Andy Ticer and Michael Hudman, notably serving on the opening culinary teams at the award-winning Hog & Hominy, Josephine Estelle and The Gray Canary.
