Moderated by Mike Esgro, the Senior Biodiversity Program Manager and Tribal Liaison at the California Ocean Protection Council, the panel includes include Maria Brown, the Superintendent at the Greater Farallones and Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuaries, Norah Eddy, Associate Director of the Oceans Program at The Nature Conservancy, and Dr. Kristen Elsmore, the lead on kelp management for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
Each panelist will provide an overview of their restoration area - the Mendocino Coast, Gulf of Farallones, and Tankers Reef in Monterey–and touch on how restoration efforts intersect and connect to broader policy issues.
