It’s been a long strange trip, but boy is it worth the wait.‘I Feel How This Night Should Look’, the album, was recorded at a number of prime locations primed for soniccraft. Tracks emerged from studios as steeped in sorcery as Kate Bush’s old workspace and George Martin’s esteemed Air Lyndhurst studio, where the duo recorded a seventeen piece string section. The duo’s heady mix of psychedelic funk, cosmic disco, global beats and studio wizardry produces a rich and varied tapestry of musical delight. The Canterbury based pair’s passion for music, honed via decades spent browsing through the world’s dusty, off the beaten track record emporiums, is present in every note. The album has a layered intelligence that only such long term dedication to the art and craft of the DJ can deliver, however it is also instantly accessible - both immediate and deep. ‘Psychemagik’ is an album of many influences.
