Matters of Vision! 2022 Program Series The Macular Degeneration Association will be hosting a free educational event on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 Location: The Westin Riverwalk 420 West Market Street San Antonio, TX 78205 Meeting Room: Sabino Time: 8:30 am registration & breakfast, ending @ 11:45 am Speaker: Jeremiah Brown, Jr., MS, MD, -Medical Board member for the Macular Degeneration Association About Dr. Brown: Dr. Jeremiah Brown, Jr. is a board-certified ophthalmologist with more than 10 years of practice experience as a Vitreoretinal Surgeon. He founded the Brown Retina Institute in 2010 to establish a medical practice devoted to diagnosing, treating and researching diseases of the retina and vitreous as well as uveitis. Dr. Brown also holds an academic appointment as Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Brown is President of the San Antonio Society of Ophthalmology. He also serves as a voting member on the FDA Ophthalmic Devices Advisory Board. Dr. Brown has two office locations San Antonio & Schertz, TX. Topics discussed will include age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and New research, treatments & innovations This program will include interactive discussions along with a Q & A session at the end of the program.
