Missed Connection - Flight from Palma, Mallorca to Newark

Yesterday, I took a 9 hour flight from Palma, Mallorca to New York. It was my lucky day as I sat next to a beautiful and very interesting girl. We struck up a conversation about the movie she watched and continued to have conversations about traveling and life throughout the remainder of the flight. It made the flight go by quickly and pain-free. I definitely intended to get this girl's number but changed my mind when I found out that she was only stopping for a layover and getting on another flight to LA to ultimately land in Santa Barbara, California. I changed my mind again when I realized I wanted to exchange contact info because ya never know when it will be useful. On multiple occasions she gave me the opportunity to ask for her number like when she said she wanted to visit NY in the summer and telling me where she intended to travel in the future. I messed up by not asking for her number while still sitting next to her. Not to be weird but we even sat for the majority of the flight without the arm rest divider down between us. So intimate, I know. However, when we got off the plane we walked over to the customs area together but something happened with her passport and she had to scurry off to a different customs area and that was it. Didn't even get to say goodbye. I was tired and had a fogged brain and didn't realize until it was too late that I didn't get her info. Anyway, it was a united flight if anyone works there and wanted to help a hopeless romantic out. I was watching a show earlier which had a quote that something like it's a lottery system regarding who you sit next to in life. I wasn't even supposed to be on that flight as my original flight was for 2 days from now and she was also not supposed to be on that flight and she got on by standby. Who knows could've been fate but moral of the story is don't wait until the last second to grab a number from someone you would like to keep in contact with. Just ask. The one noticeable thing about her that I can describe is she had some sort of silver jewlery/sticker on her front teeth.
