Course Name: IHSS Career Pathways: Stress and Burnout Primary Pathway Name: General Health & Safety Course Description: Stress and Caregiver Burnout is a 2-hour training geared to individuals who have assumed the role of caregiver. During this workshop, participants will gain an understanding of how to manage and recognize the symptoms of stress and warning signs of burnout. The information provided will help alleviate some of the stressors that may arise due to caregiving. Techniques to set boundaries and learn skills to prioritize will provide participants with valuable tools and information for working and interacting with IHSS consumers.
