The Big Ugly (FB thebiguglyband) is looking for a keyboard player or lead guitarist. Yes, either will do. We are a progressive rock band, not Dream Theater of course, but hard rock, melodic and on the heavier side. We gig every few months and primarily focus on original music. We play covers too, but we write new music regularly. We have two CD's, both pretty different. The last was recorded in 2018 and we have material for a new CD. The plan is to record a new record this winter. We have rehearsal space in Sherman, TX. Full PA, ProTools rig, Lights, Keys, Drums, etc.. Plug and play. If you are unable to drive to Sherman, understood. However, our studio is stellar and is free for you to use. We are looking for an experienced player. A pro. We are all busy professionals but usually practice Sunday mornings. When preparing for a show, more frequently. Our next gig is at Six Springs Tavern on October 1 at 8pm if you'd like to come out and hear us. We were previously a 5 piece, and now we're four.
