Looking for a drummer in the Susiun to Davis area

Hi, my name is Mike. I’m a bass player, and I’m looking for a pro-minded, solid drummer who lives locally between Susiun and Davis Ca. I have a guitar player locally I work with who's pretty good so, I’d like to keep this a local thing right now. A local drummer would make us a good solid trio. Ultimately, I want to add keyboards and possibly sax. I’m a solid bass player and practice regularly to a meter. I have a pounding hard-hitting bass style and I lock in and coordinate with the drummer so I’d need you to have the ability to play to a meter as well. I can sing lead and front a band but don’t fancy myself a lead singer. I’d prefer to stick to backing vocals & harmonies. So if you have singing abilities especially backing vocals,…. That would be a big plus. I have literally decades of band and performance experience. This is an all-new show (yes, it's a startup) that will focus on Top 40 & Rock from the 60’s 70’s & 80’s. All material that our audience remembers, knows, & loves. I’m not interested in re-producing note for note copies of 50-year-old recordings. This is is about entertaining our audience with professionally performed live versions of this old material. It will be an upbeat, have fun, get people up and dance type of show.
