5 string banjo and upright bass located in Murrieta/Temecula area looking for guitarist who wants to play Americana/Old Country/Bluegrass/Folk music. We both play and sing and would like the guitarist to have singing abilities as well. The music we do has an upbeat energy with songs in the style of Johnny Cash, Ernest Tubbs, Merle Travis, Doc Watson, Stephen Foster, Uncle Dave Macon and others. We do songs about mines, trains, moonshine, bar fights and other old, classic themes. We will do some original songs in the future as well. Right now, we are looking for a guitarist to round out our sound. We may add a mandolin or fiddle down the road. The goal is to play local gigs in the SoCal area.
