Focus Group on Blood Pressure in LA & Orange County

We are looking for people between 18 and 74 years old from LA or Orange County of various backgrounds to participate in a blood pressure study. The purpose of the study is to collect blood pressure data to help develop ways to measure cardiovascular health. The study has multiple components to it, including up to 4 in-person visits and an ‘at-home’ data collection, and has a duration of approximately 6 to 8 hours. The third in-person visit (if offered) will occur after the second in-person visit and has a duration of approximately 4 hours. If you pre-qualify based on your answers to the questions in the prescreen, you will be called for further screening over the phone. Should you pre-qualify after completing the phone screening, you will be scheduled for the first in-person visit, which is an intake screening session to understand your current health condition and medical history.  If the screening confirms your eligibility for the study, you will continue the data collection protocol.  If you do not qualify after the intake screening, you will be paid a small incentive for your time. During the at-home study, you would need to wear two wrist-worn devices (smartwatches) for at least 12 hours during the day and complete a set of tasks each morning and evening, roughly 10 minutes each time. Once you complete the at-home study, you will be asked to complete the additional in-person session(s). Depending on if you qualify and how many portions of the study you complete, the total incentive will be between $50 and $2,125 if you stay compliant with the study requirements for the duration of the study and complete all the study activities in which you are selected to enroll. If you are interested in participating, please sign up and take the survey to see if you qualify!
