It was clear from the beginning that Trump would destroy the republican party and expose all of their weaknesses. Mission accomplished. The GOP is scrambling to fine their identity. There are no obvious conservative leaders. There is no strong leadership. 995 of the party wants to move past Trump. Half are afraid to speak out against him for fear that they will lose votes. The other half are vocal about wanting the tyrant gone. Trump weakening the GOP is the silver lining to his being elected. By weakening the GOP, Trump has strengthened the democrats.
