Looking to make original music: Guitarist here

Hello to all fellow musicians! I am a self learned guitarist looking for other musicians to make some music or just get together and jam. As for genre of music, here are some of the bands I would like to "get inspired" from: FooFighters, QOTSA, mybloodyvalentine, CocteauTwins, Slowdive, Swervedriver, Radiohead, SmashingPumpkins, STP, Deftones, ChelseaWolfe, AliceinChains. Basically, lots of fuzz-ed reverby power chords, maybe a bit of melodic solos, one or two clean songs. Also, if you are trying to make some 80s pop rock/new wave/reggae sound, I am in.
