This year's keynote is not to be missed - Sister Deirdre Byrne!
Sister Deirdre “Dede” Byrne is the superior of the Little Workers of the Sacred Hearts, an Italian order of sisters founded in 1894. Prior to joining the order, Sister Byrne attended Georgetown University Medical School. Sister Byrne is a retired Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps and has served in Egypt, Korea, and Afghanistan.
The Holy Spirit bolted this courageous nun into the international spotlight in 2020 shortly after she prayed for God to “use her to ‘speak about the sanctity of life to the world,’” and He is using her skills to save pre-born lives through abortion pill reversal, as well as her religious community in Washington, D.C. to help abortion-determined mothers change their minds and choose life. You will be inspired!
The evening will begin with check-in from 4-6pm. You are welcome to view the vendor & ministry booths as you enjoy this social hour with a cash bar. At 6pm, we will eat a gourmet dinner followed by the evening's program with His Excellency Joseph E. Strickland & Sister Deirdre Byrne.
This will be an exciting evening where we celebrate all the God has done this year through the Sanctity of Life Action Committee of the Diocese of Tyler!
