I need sterio advice for my truck

I'm looking to get 4 door speakers, and a sub box in the back with two 10" subs. I'm sure an amp as well. When I was younger I had a system with highs, mids, and base with amp and electronic crossover. I miss having good sound, my birthday is in a few days so I'm going to get something for my truck. I'm looking to spend about $1,000 + - I'm hoping to find someone fairly local that has done the same thing that I can take a listen to and see if I like it. And if so I will get the same set up as you. Right now I'm leaning towards 4- Alpine R-Series 6.5 Inch 300 Watt Coaxial 2-Way Car Audio Speakers, 2- Rockford Fosgate P3SD4-10 Punch P3S 10" 4-Ohm DVC Shallow Subwoofer Any input from someone that knows the current speaker stuff would be great.
